I also see that we refunded your pre-paid reservation entirely, in addition to giving you 20,000 IHG Rewards points as a gesture for the inconvenience that you experience. Unfortunately this resort was the closet option with availability that evening. I see that your reservation was relocated to the five star Waldorf Astoria Resort & that our hotel paid for your stay. Please know that your reservation was not intentionally relocated on our part. Unfortunately our hotel was oversold, due to a glitch in our reservation system. We are embarrassed to hear that we dropped the ball by not honoring your reservation, as well as how our staff members handled this situation.
